NAXT 365 Data Migration

Madisa Mexico
One Platform. 16 Legal entities. Zero Compromises.
For Madisa, one of Mexico's leading heavy equipment distributors, the move to NAXT 365 was about more than upgrading software. It was about building a digital foundation capable of supporting a business that operates at national scale - across multiple segments, thousands of customers, and decades of accumulated data spread across fragmented legacy systems.
The challenge wasn't the platform. It was everything that had to be untangled, cleaned, and carried forward before the platform could perform.
About Madisa
A unified, future-ready digital platform.
Madisa is one of Mexico's most trusted heavy equipment distributors, serving customers nationwide with machinery, solutions, and after-sales services across multiple business segments. Committed to operational excellence and continuous modernization, the company's decision to adopt NAXT 365 - powered by Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Sales - was a strategic move toward a unified, future-ready digital platform.
The Challenge
With over 150 master and transactional data objects in scope and no configuration migration, this was a pure data migration engagement - and one of the most complex LGS had taken on. Madisa's existing landscape comprised multiple legacy applications, each carrying its own logic, formats, and years of customization. Consolidating and transforming this fragmented data into a single NAXT 365 environment demanded precision at every layer.
Multiple legacy systems with heavily customized structures required significant data transformation, cleansing, and standardization
Mexico-specific localization requirements, tax structures, and language needs added a further layer of complexity
A large global delivery team spanning Mexico, the UK, Australia, and India required precise coordination and time zone alignment
The Solution
Madisa partnered with LGS (under DDPTech partnership) and XAPT to design and execute a structured, collaborative migration program. At its core was LGS's core expertise in D365 data migration and associated technlologies supported by DataMC's proprietary data migration solution (refined under DDPTech partnership) - LGS helped identify, document and build on thousands of reusable data quality rules and accumulated IP that significantly accelerated both development and validation cycles.
The program was built on proprietary data migration IP originated by LGS and DataMC under the DDPTech partnership - thousands of reusable data quality rules and structured migration frameworks developed from the ground up and deployed here at scale.
Reusable data structures enabled consistent handling of complex objects across multiple legacy sources
A disciplined transformation and validation process ensured data accuracy at every stage of the migration
Madisa's business operations team provided critical domain knowledge to interpret historical data and confirm business readiness
Round-the-clock collaboration across four countries enabled continuous progress through validation, testing, and load execution
The final migration successfully loaded master and transactional data into an integrated D365 FSCM and CE environment - establishing a single, unified data foundation for Madisa's operations.
Outcomes & Benefits
With NAXT 365 live and underpinned by high-quality, validated data, Madisa now operates on a modern digital platform built for scale, transparency, and long-term growth. The migration didn't just move data - it established the data backbone the entire business now runs on.
150+ master and transactional data objects successfully migrated across multiple legacy sources
Mexico-specific localization, tax, and language requirements fully addressed within the NAXT 365 environment
Spanish language migration fully supported
Improved data consistency and reduced reliance on fragmented legacy systems across all business segments
Enhanced operational visibility across reporting, inventory, and financial processes from day one
A robust, unified data foundation that supports faster, more confident decision-making at every level of the organization
About LGS
LGS is the evolution of DDPTech - the alliance between LGS and DataMC that originated the data migration IP powering every engagement in this case study. As the original architects of the data migration methodology and toolsets, LGS brings proprietary, field-proven capability that no other partner can replicate. Today, LGS continues that legacy globally - helping enterprises modernize with confidence and delivering clean, structured, business-ready data from day one.
